Lake Monger is a 5-minute walk away from the Oxford Street coffee strip for some post-exercise coffee or chow. For me, the main disadvantage of Lake Monger is the sheer number of people on the paths. It's also a little on the tame and domestic side for me because I like parks where I can get away from people.
